Jackson is a composer, sound desinger, and audio implementor who specializes in crafting audio that enhances and deepens artistic experiences. Whether for video games, animation, tabletop games, or other media, his compositions serve to immerse audiences into new worlds and experiences.
While guitar is his primary instrument, he also plays bass, drums, and synthesizers, bringing a versatile hands-on approach to every composition he creates. Jackson has a deep understanding of a wide range of musical genres. His background spans rock, jazz, orchestral, and electronic music, shaped by both formal training and years of independent exploration and collaboration. This range of experience allows him to approach each project with adaptability, creativity, and a strong sense of musical storytelling.
In college, he learned how to create and implement complex adaptive audio systems using Wwise and FMOD, and participated in many student development teams. Since graduating summa cum laude, he has been a composer on various indie game projects, as well as a sound designer and audio engineer for local theatre productions.
